冠词主要考查不定冠词和定冠词的混淆。还有的是考查一些固定搭配，例如on the other hand, for instance / example（中间没有an）等。
考点解析：
例1：With occasional breaks for war, the rates of death

解析：定冠词the通常表示特指。Europe是专有名词，无需加定冠词特指。
