2、语法：这是现在孩子们在英语写作中丢分最多的一项。

(1)写完作文后要记得检查：语法知识需要靠我们平时一步步积累，但是孩子们要注意在写完作文之后一定要细心检查自己的作文，一些学过的语法点不要再错了。

(2)避免使用自己拿不准的句子：很多孩子喜欢用长句、复合句等。可是又对这些句子掌握得不是很牢固，所以很容易出错。一切拿不准的词和句子，都应该使用自己会的简单句和简单词，这样才能给考官留下好印象。

3、词汇：如果在文章中能够正确使用一些高级词汇和词组，而不再是简单词汇，这会让老师耳目一新。例如：如果要孩子们来写holiday。很多孩子们一开始就会写I went to …… last year. 用went就很大众化了，但是如果用take a trip这个词组就会显得你的英语水平跟其他人不一样了

对于词汇这个点，我向孩子们提两点建议：

中国的学生很早就开始接触英语,并且在学校科目中占有非常重要的地位。英语作为一门语言,慢慢地发生了一些变化,经常在网上、电视作品中能见到一些特有的并且很流行的英语词汇,有人称它为“中国式英语”,那么英语教师,如何在平时的教学过程中,既向学生介绍西方文化,又很好地弘扬中国的传统文化,帮助学生正确地看待“中国英语”呢?

随着英语在全球的扩张,英语作为国际通用语的地位得以确立和巩固,英语不再是属于英美诸国的专利,而是属于世界,这一国际通用语在不同领域和地区广泛使用,使之有机会与其他语言和文化长期接触,因而不可避免地出现本土化。本土化又必然衍生出大量不同的英语变体。中国改革开放三十年以来,政治经济的迅速发展,中国对外交流的机会日益增多,英语受到中国文化的影响,形成了“中国英语”这一变体。

中国英语是对还是错呢?这个问题已经有不少学者进行了深入的研究,有不同的观点。

“中国英语”(China English)这一概念首先是由葛传规先生在《漫谈由汉译英问题》一文中提出来的。对于中国英语,他提出了如下观点:一是中国英语属客观存在,是一种事实;二是中国英语是专门用来表达中国特有的事物的词汇;三是中国英语常常会引起交际上的困难,但经过解释依然可以理解;四是中国英语的使用不排除中国人使用英语的前提,即依照英语民族的习惯用法。李文中同志认为葛老的观点不够全面。他提出:中国英语应以规范英语为核心,表达中国社会文化诸领域特有事物,不受母语干扰和影响,通过音译、译借及语义再生等手段进入英语交际,具有中国特点的词汇、句式和语篇的英语。谢之君的表述:中国英语是中国人在跨文化语言交际中使用的干扰性英语变体,尽管它永远不能成为目的语——英语,但在中国的特定时期,有其存在的合理性和必要性。随着中国的改革开放和经济腾飞,对外交往日益频繁,有些具有中国特色的新生事物根本无法用完全对等或相应的英语表达。因此,带有中国味儿的“中国英语”的出现也就是不可避免了,英语并没有同中文完全对等的词汇和习惯用法,以及成语表达法。音译引入的词汇,如表示武术类的阴阳(YinYang),功夫(Kungfu)等;表示茶叶的乌龙(oolong),铁观音(twankay)等;表示食物的豆腐(tofu)等。

另外,汉语中具有中国特色的一些专用名词,在用英语表达时往往带有“中国腔”,还是由中国特有的历史文化所决定的。讲英语的本族人虽然一开始难以接受,但经过解释,能够理解它们的含义并完全接受它们,如具有历史文化特色的词汇:儒家思想(Confucinaism),(Cultural Revolution)等;反映中国时代变化的词汇:经济特区(Special economic zone),一国两制(One country,two systems)等。这些词汇不但不会影响对外交际,反而会使外国人深感耳目一新,对中国的文化有更为深入的了解,也丰富了英语的表达方式。

中国式英语的范围很大很广,其中有合理的部分,但也有错误的地方,我们应该加以区别和对待。有中国特色的东西还是应该坚持的,才能保持原汁原味,本身两种语言都是无法对等的,如果强制地将语言对等翻译,就会出现意义完全不对等的现象,但是对于发音,语法规则和习惯用法必须遵循,否则就是过分的“独立自主”了。

当然,中国英语只能在与规范英语的对立统一中得到体现,应当将它视为受汉语语言和文化影响的中介语变体,并指导我们在跨文化的语言交际中正确、有效地使用英语。当我们在平时的教学过程中遇到这些词汇时,应该如何帮助学生去正确地看待它们呢?我觉得学生应该尽可能地避免使用,尽量扩大词汇量,多掌握英语的习惯用法,牢牢掌握英语语法和规则,平时多注意积累和练习,做到熟能生巧,多了解西方文化,了解中西文化的差异,培养英语语感。

在牛津初中英语书中,最能体现中西方文化的莫过于7A Unit 3了,在本单元,主要向我们介绍了西方的重要节日,如圣诞节、万圣节等,可以说本单元是展示西方文化的典型的窗口。在本单元的Reading部分,着重向我们介绍的万圣节,学生可以了解到这个节日的时间,孩子们的活动,学生对这部分内容非常感兴趣,所以这是一个了解西方文化很好的机会。

当然,本单元还着重介绍了中国的传统节日春节,放在Integrated Skills部分,这也是非常重要的部分,我在上这一课时的内容时,把它当做和Reading部分一样重要的内容处理,介绍了这一节日的时间及人们的活动,还让学生了解了烟火、舞狮子、红灯笼、汤圆、饺子、红包、春联等一系列与春节相关的富有中国特色的事物,让学生沉浸在过年的幸福氛围中,所以学生从思想上也会重视,印象非常深刻,在这些传统节日被渐渐淡忘的今天,我觉得非常有意义。

总之,新的历史条件对英语教师和英语教学都提出了新的要求。在文化交流全球化的背景下,新的教学方法和手段不断涌现。英语教师面临更多的挑战和机遇。我们应该及时调整教学思路,提高自身文化修养,改进教学方法,在教学过程中,把握时展的脉搏,除了让学生熟练掌握语言知识外,还必须加强西方文化和本土文化在语言教学中的渗入,增强学生的文化敏感度,尽量消除语言沟通的文化差异,如此才能真正改善教师的教学效果,消除跨文化交流障碍,提高文化修养,提高语言运用能力,最终达到自如地进行跨文化交流的目的。
